It is a lot of fun.  I've done it twice.  Bring a camera.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Do the fisherman's wharf and Lombard St. and the standard touristy stuff.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;It sounds like you are already planning to go North to Napa.  If you want to take a day trip south and see Monterey (about a 90 min drive) they have a great aquarium.  The otters are awesome. Harris' restaurant is a great place for a romantic anniversary dinner.  It's expensive, but worth it.  That's where Scott and I went for my 30th.
