A Mike Life: The Friday Question

The Capn in the near term, is eagerly awaiting the Return of Smallville. Its a before Superman is Superman story done extremely well. I guess you could throw Heroes into that mix as well.

For new shows, I'm looking forward to the Bionic Woman, and Journeyman.

On the horizon it would be 24 and then the show that BLOWS them all out of the water is BattleStar Galacitca.

I really disliked 24 last season, it got really lame. I hope they can rebound. Smallville is always good, but I am slightly worried about the supergirl angle.

Agreed, and hate to agree.... Smallville has been done really well, im afraid this will 'jump the shark'. Supposedly, this or next season is the last for Smallville.....

    I have two -
The Office because I desperately want to see how they play out the JAM storyline... AND... FNL because I want to see what they do this year; I'm hoping that they don't fall into a second year slump like so many worthy shows in the past.

    JAM! Classic!

I think it's definitely the Office. We watched the season finale last night and now I can't wait.

I'm looking forward to Heroes, but I'm a little concerned over where it's going. It feels like, from what I've read and seen, that it's leaving last season behind and moving into new directions. The 'New stories' make me a little concerned that they will just leave last season behind, when I think they should build off it.
I'll be watching either way and hoping it's as good as last season.

Of course CSI. got to find out what happens to Sarah. I'm betting she'll be alive...any takers?

For new shows I think; Chuck, Journeyman, Bionic Woman, Back to you (I recorded the first one, but haven't watched it yet), Kitchen Nightmares (I'm a Gordon Ramsey fan, the BBC version was fun and this weeks didn't disappoint), I'm also going to try Big Shots (looks like a modern day Swingers...you're so money), and Pushing Daisies.

In the end only a couple will make the cut, but hey this is training camp for TV, we'll see who makes the final DVR roster. ;-)

Hey Scott, I watched Survivor last night, by the way :)

Now be a man and hold up your end of the deal :)

I am excited about the Office and Heroes. I read a little bit about how different season 2 will be. I'm glad that it seems like they won't just keep the main cast together in the storyline... Super Friends comes to mind :) Have you heard about the Heroes: Origins spinoff idea?

Of course The Office, we re-watched the finale last night too and it got us so excited for next week! I'm also looking forward to Heroes, Grey's (hoping it's better than last season) and Ugly Betty (just for you Mike!) We're going to try Chuck too. I'm going to try Private Practice and Gossip Girl (but Adrian won't watch those, haha!)
  • Adrian · 2 years ago
Hey, I never said I wouldn't watch Private Practice. I just hope it's better than the quasi-pilot they had last year. I also hope Grey's does a better job this year.

It's all about The Office! Summer vacation is over. It is time to get back to work...

Well Nicky, since I LOVE MY wife, I did watch Gossip Girl with Jina and it was interesting :)

I'm totally watching Chuck too, and there are some others...Big Shots and another one with Michael Vartan, or Peter Krouse, I forget the name

    Private Practice...egh... :)

Hey there's nothing wrong with having more than one silly TV show you enjoy:) I already have ANTM, SYTYCD, Y&R and CRS, so now I can just toss a little PP and GG in there! haha;)

Definitely looking forward to The Office. We've been re-watching the last season on DVD in preparation for the new season.

Have you seen the new Dunder-Mifflin game? It's called DM Infinity. (http://www.dundermifflininfinity.com/) I applied and got accepted (as a Temp) at the Flagstaff branch. :P

I received a hilarious memo from Ryan via email, about how he's taking Dunder-Mifflin into the 21st century. (Thus the name change to DM Infinity.) Let the hilarity begin...

    What's the game?
