TGIF!! I always refresh the website in anticipation of the Friday question!

Ok, mines abstract and a bit nerdy but, variety is the psice of life....

Civl War, Marvel comics series made into a book. Why? Becuase it ultimately altered the Hero universe as you may think of it (well Marvel universe anyways). Its no longer Hero vs bad guy, and Hero wins the day. Instead its Hero vs Hero, several significant prominent Heros have been eliminated, the marvel universe is now this dark, bleak gloomy look of times that reflect somewhat similar to our own reality with the a big brother in control of all and selling it to the populace. its done extremly well written by an icon comic guy who made Sin City and 300.....

It's hard to pick just one...but I've read "Great Expectations" by Charles Dickens at least a dozen times or more. It's a classic. You've got an orphan boy trying to make his way into the upper class of London, along with intrigue, escaped prisoners and secret benefactors, a crazy manipulative old lady who still wears her wedding dress, and Estella... who is, hands-down, one of the most interesting female characters in literature.

Stephen King is also a favorite, and it's hard to pick just one of his books, but I would have to say "The Stand" or "'Salems Lot" are a couple of my favorites.
