Gotta love Westerns and JJ Abrams.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I read the novella "I Am Legend" by Richard Matheson several years ago (when I found out that Stephen King credited that story as being influential in inspiring him to become a writer).  It's an amazing story.  I highly recommend it - especially if you like horror.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Unfortunately, I think they've changed the story for the movie.  The disease or infection they allude to in the trailer is actually vampirism in the book.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The story was made into a movie before, in the 70s with Charleton Heston called "Omega Man."  It also changed the story and made it a nuclear holocaust with mutated radiation creatures chasing him.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;And yeah...I'm a geek.
